I feel so sad and alone
Walking this eerie land
Did I do something wrong
To be the only one whose feet aren’t covered in sand?

You may think it’s good
To feel like this
Unstoppable, a cactus with no roots
Wind blowing my face as I slowly forget my memories

Sad to you, puny god

Now to wander around the world solitarily

In my path I see the skulls
Of the ones who have fallen
Rotten bodies under coats made of wool
Guarding just the heart they were holding

The cold winter hugs my sorrowful body
Making me realize it’s time to go

Just tired of waiting for the future to unfold
