Thought I might go out tonight, I painted on some jeans
I pulled my favorite cowboy boots all the way up to my knees
I had a double shot of courage to get me out the door
Well it went down so smoothly so I poured myself one more

I rolled out of bed this morning wearing thursday’s clothes

There’s a pile of rolled up papers stacked on my front stairs

This real smooth talker slides on over. Puts his hands around my waist.
So I stole his wallet, slammed his beer, and slapped him cross the face.
