[There is a man in this world who has never smiled
You may know his tragedy, the later years by heart
In the beginning there was a mother, father and a child
A troubled little silent boy whose life they were to destroy

All his solutions, it seemed, were only problems in disguise

Mother was yet confident, although they had it tight, taught her son
At the end of every tunnel's a little light.
It wasn't a lie, it was her hope, that everything would be fine one day

Where dead snakes let him feed on those
Lost hopes, all those kind words could hurt him even more, now
Somehow, lost one more way back home
Out on the lake, he rows towards a monster he should've been running away from, years ago.
The past had made him blind to the way he'd turned the pain into a way of life.
Followed his father, tucked him in, Caleb knows the trade.
He's the portrait of a man his mother drew to hate forever.
She was a beast, a deadly saint, wrong in many ways
Wanted to keep up the charade, until the end waltzing together
Over the hills, under the sea,
Fighting the will, whole Universe
Why does a man driving a hearse
Live in fear, Gift and a Curse
Taking ´em out, taking ´em all,
Shooting the wall, over and out
When nothing moves, all's well,
A decision he can find a way to live with
...and dried up flowers are so beautiful.
And it applies to all things living, and dead.
For that I serve my time... in my suite in Hell.

Apenas torça sua cabeça quando a criança está parada e tem um pescoço frágil.
Sorriu em seu funeral, "feliz que estejas morto."
Todas as suas soluções, aparentemente, eram apenas problemas disfarçados
Juntando seu rosto bêbado, estava pronto para apagar outro dia...
Mãe estava ainda confiante, apesar de terem tão tenso, ensinou seu filho
Que ao fim de cada túnel há uma pequena luz
Não era uma mentira, era sua esperança, que tudo ficaria bem um dia
"Ele pode preencher cada sonho dele, eu estou feliz enquanto ele não estiver"
"Eu odeio e temo não encarar
a criança não é direita, ele é minha maior vergonha"
Saia, crie trovão, e fique bem embaixo
Daquela velha macieira
Onde cobras mortas o deixam se alimentar
Esperanças perdidas, todas aquelas palavras bondosas poderiam feri-lo ainda mais, agora
De algum modo, perdeu mais um caminho de volta para casa
Fora no lago, ele rema na direção de um monstro que ele deveria estar fugindo, anos atrás.
O passado o deixou cego para a maneira em que ele transformou a dor num meio de vida.
Seguiu seu pai, o dobrou, Caleb sabe a troca.
Ele é o retrato do homem que sua mãe odiará para sempre.
Ela era uma besta, uma santa mortal, errada em muitas formas
Queria manter a charada, até o fim valsando juntos
Além das Colinas, abaixo do mar
Lutando a vontade, todo o Universo
Porque um homem dirige o ataúde
Viva em temor, benção e maldição
Tirando para fora, tirando a todos
Atirando a parede, além e for a
Quando nada se move, tudo está bem
Uma decisão que ele pode encontrar um modo de viver com
...e flores secas são tão belas.
E isso se aplica a todas as coisas vivas, e mortas.
Para isso eu sirvo meu tempo... em minha suite no Inferno.
"Agora eu toco o sino para dizer ao mundo,
