When The Chapter Closes

Possess no mind any longer
An extension of her's
Puppet dancing for your master
A life long dead, controlled and captured
And you would sink so low to spurn your brothers

A reborn existence
A simple farce
Recalling little of the past
Bewitched fervour
A loyal dog
Leaving the heard to join the flock

A simple character in such a parody if a sentiment
With such majesty
Thoughts so tender that worship another
One-way folly as she calls the tune
And the prologue read: You shall obey
To serve until your chapter closes
And like a leech she'll suck you dry
And laugh as you plead: Why?

The author takes another walk across the water
And you content to drown beneath her
Give and take or lay down and bleed
This book of conquest

Then to earth falling with a crash
A broken shell but a lesson learnt
