Hey you on the hill
Take the time if you will
To read my note
I'm not very smart
But it comes from the heart of me
I know this world is real complicated,
And my idea may be out dated
But it's the only thing
That makes any sense to me

Love works every time
When everything fails
Love brings it in line
Love works it's tested and true
The one thing I know bout this earth
Love works

Must the world shake apart
Before all of our hearts
Beat together?
We'll argue and fight
To prove we are right
And that's all wrong
The one thing I see in every instance,
Love is the path of least resistance
It's the only thing
