Rainy Day

Every day it seems,
the feeling deep inside me, its getting stronger,
much much stronger.
When I look around its frightening me
What's going on, I wonder

When I wake up its another day to go a
fight to struggle to survive this is not what I was told

When I was a little boy they promised me the best after getting older
But I've gotten older
All these promises
Resting heavily on my shoulders
If there was a way to learn about the future
Do I want to know? I don't want to know
I wonder when tomorrow comes, will it be another rainy day
Can hope hold on for so long
Will it die or just fade away
Tell me after all this time
All these wars
All these wasted days
All this suffering
All this bloodshed
All this racism
Oh tell me to you feel deprived
Of being so called civilized

Cause if there was a way to learn about the future
