O céu se agitava como um caldeirão e o trovão distante rugiaThe sky churned like a cauldron and the distant thunder roared
E eu sabia que estava em uma grande tempestadeAnd I knew that I was in for quite a storm

Um pouco de chuva nunca fez mal a ninguém, então continuei pressionandoA little rain never hurt no one so I kept pressing on

Um raio atingiu um carvalho quando eu pulei da minha bicicletaLightning struck an oak tree as I leapt off my bike
As sirenes começaram a soar, mas não havia um bom lugar para se esconderThe sirens started wailing but there was no good place to hide

Então eu rastejei em um bueiro para esperarSo I crawled into a culvert to wait it out

O turbilhão de um vórtice, um violento carrosselThe whirling of a vortex, a violent carousel

Foi quando eu vi minha família com os olhos bem fechadosThat was when I saw my family with my eyes shut real tight
Eles saberiam o quanto eu os amava se fosse assim que eu morresse?Would they know how much I loved them if this was how I died?
Não, eu jurei que não seria assassinado por um monstro no céu naquela noiteNo, I vowed I’d not be murdered by a monster in the sky that night

Mas se eu fosse para casa no céu, pelo menos é onde eu pertenceriaBut if I went home to heaven, at least that’s where I'd belong
