Ad Guray Nameh

To the one who meditates on Him there comes a perfect peace,
And all pain and sorrows depart.
Meditate on Him, who contains this universe,
Whose Holy Name is the whisper on the lips of the entire creation.

Ad Guray Nameh, Jugad Guray Nameh,
Sat Guray Nameh, Siri Guru Devay Nameh

To the one who meditates on Him there comes a perfect peace,

The Vedas, the Puranas and the Smritis, sustaining the purest truths,
Were created out of a portion of God's Name.

Into that heart which God has blessed with a hint of His Name.

There comes a greatness beyond all praise.
To him who seeks only to gain a sight of Thee
Is granted the grace to save man.

Sayeth Nanak: This perfect peace is found in the nectar of His Name.
It is the Name of God which dwells in the hearts of His lovers: Meditate...meditate
