The weekend's finally here

Hit the town, put the week behind us

This has been a great night

Everything went just as planned
The only thing that we forgot
Was stocking up by 12 o'clock

We've been in this band
Longer than most of our fans have been
We get started up about 6 O'clock
And we go until most of us just can't stand
And it never ceases to amaze me
