There is no resolution, so let me paint you a picture,
The ones that we call lost, get all the glory,
Nobody said that this would be easy
This is the path we've chosen
And now we're treading through the darkness

So I brace myself for an intervention
This helplessness has gone on too long
The hardest part of knowing that this is the end
Is simply wishing that I could just do it again

The hardest part is knowing, as I stand on the edge
That there is nothing that keeps me
From stepping off to my decent
Reach for the stars is what they've always told us
Without ever having touched the sky
And we have given so much that all

We have is hope and we're standing at the edge
There is no resolution
