When Israel went out of Egypt
The house of Jacob from a stranger's land
Judah was His sanctuary
Israel, His dominion

O the sea saw it and fled
Jordan was driven back
The mountains skipped like rams
The little hills like lambs

What saw thee, o thou sea
What saw thee that thou fled?
What saw thee, o thou Jordan
That thou wast driven back?
What saw thee, o thou mountain
That thou skipped like rams?
O, what saw thee, o thou hills
Thou little hills that skipped like lambs?

Tremble the earth at the presence
The presence of the Lord
And the god, the god of Jacob
Tremble all the earth

He turned the rock
Into living water
He turned the rock
Into a flowing fountain
He turned the rock
That was my heart
