They've got me on this medication
It makes me numb because it takes away the pain
It hasn't made me any better
At least I cannot hear the questions in my brain

I'd rather be labelled insane
Than trapped alone inside this hole

The doc increased my medication
He said rejection is a natural part of health
And if I wanted to get any better
I'd better do away with this foolishness
Do only fools look up and pray
When folly makes them pay the cost
Is faith the foolish human way
Of letting go of what we've lost
